I'm Miss Mae, the Pure Southern Genteel author. I wanted to add my two cents (with the recession, that might only be worth a penny) to the sentiments expressed in the posts below.
The world of books is a confusing place. There are numerous authors, titles, plots, websites...how does a reader choose among so many?
A lot of that depends on what you're looking for.
If a reader already knows they're a romance fan, then this, The Sweetest Romance Authors blog, is for you.
If a reader already knows they're a romance fan of no sex, G-rated stories, then this, The Sweetest Romance Authors blog, is for you.
If a reader already knows they're a romance fan of no sex, G-rated stories that has a plot of challenging mystery, adventures of sci-fi, imagery of fantasy worlds, lover of historical times dealing with the eras of medieval, regency, Victorian...then this, The Sweetest Romance Authors blog, is for you.
Here you'll be introduced to talented, creative writers who are able to capture you and thrust you into a world of wonderful make-believe. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll bite your nails, you'll flip through the pages so as not to miss a single word of the action or beautiful love story.
But one thing you won't find are bedroom scenes.
Why?
For one thing, we don't think they're important.
And what do we mean by G-rated romance?
This is assurance that the love scenes we do write consist of tenderness between the hero and heroine and where the caresses go no further than the woman's shoulders.
